New Year’s Day in Thailand





New Year’s Day is the important day for everyone because you will spend time in long holiday with your family or friends. And it is also believed that it is the day of starting for good things in your life.

The New Year’s celebration is held on January, 1. Many people will do a lot of activities, such as, make a merit, travel and go to countdown party.

The adult usually take their descendant to make merit in this day and somebody, who are the Buddhist, will go to a watchnight service on December, 31 until midnight on January, 1. Because they believed that they will get the good thing all the year.

In that moment, it is in the winter of Thailand, which is on December – February, teenagers like to travel in the North of the country, such as Chiangmai, Chiangrai and Maehongson. But somebody go to Lampomtep, which in Phuket, to see the last sunset on December,31.

In addition, they will go to countdown party in famous places, such as, Pattaya and Central World. There are popular brands to play music. If it is near time, they will start to countdown. And there are fireworks shows up. It is very beautiful as you can’t imagine.


All of this is New Year’s celebration. It is extremely important day. Everyone waits for today all years to travel, spend time with family and go to countdown with friends. It is the day of starting the good things. If the first day of the year is good, everyday will be good too.

The advantages of teens mom. Nowadays, teens mom become a big problems of social. Most people think it is very bad and should be improved. But in my opinion, I think it is not that bad. It still has many advantages. I think there are three advantages. First, they will learn a lot of experience more than normal teenagers. Despite, they loss teenager’s life, they will grow to be adult more. They have to worry about their future. Someone may find job. It is different from normal teenagers that still studying. Second, having the baby makes them think before they do anything. They will learn being mom and become a patient person. For example, when they will go to pub, they will worry about their baby. So they won’t go to pub to care their baby. Last, I think it is still a good way. Some pregnant teens may think to cut off a problem by abortion. But teens mom have a big heart by not destroy their baby. Finally, I want everyone don’t judge teens mom only bad things....

Describing place -Don Hoi Lod- This is Don Hoi Lod. It is located near Maeklong river in Samutsongkhram. It has become a place for people to visit on weekend because it is peaceful and beautiful place. It is near Bangkok, you can drive about 2 hours. There are a lot of activities. You will see a lot of people groping a razor clam and sitting around there. And it is surrounded by a lot of trees and seafood restaurants, such as, Kunlin and Krua Kun Pao. In addition, you can pay respect to Prince of Chumphon Shrine there and visit the gold chapel at Wat Satthathum. It is very beautiful. Don Hoi Lod is the one of famous place. You can relax there.  You will hear the wind blowing and feel fresh. It is very nice.
